Our Team

Putting together a team that shared Linda's values was paramount to the success of LLS Financial Services Inc. For the pieces to fit together, team members had to be committed to client care, integrity, and life-long learning. Anything less is unacceptable - to us and for our clients.

Linda Stephens, President

For over 40 years, Company President, Linda Stephens, has enjoyed a successful career in accounting and finance. Linda has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from York University.  She is also a Certified Expert ProAdvisor for QuickBooks.  Linda currently sits as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Peterborough Youth Services and is an active member of the Kawartha Golf & Country Club. Her commitment to staying current with changes in legislation is evident in her on-going continuing education plans. Clients appreciate Linda's genuine concern for them and their situations and they have learned that they can rely on Linda to offer them solutions to their income tax, business, and tax planning needs.

Linda makes her home in Peterborough and enjoys her time outside of the office playing golf and sharing family time with her sister.

Christine Perry, Bookkeeper - Tax Consultant

Christine joined LLS Financial Services Inc. in February 2019 as an Administrative Assistant.  She quickly moved into the Bookkeeper & Tax Consultant position.  Christine has 20 years of experience in the financial industry.  She has a background in banking and has a clear understanding of banking, insurance and investments and has a certificate in Financial counselling.  She wants everyone to be better off financially, and she is willing to share her knowledge in order to help make this happen.

Christine enjoys gardening and boating. She feels that any time spent with her friends and more importantly her family is always the best time.

Amy Ferren , Bookkeeper & Tax Consultant

Amy joined the LLS Financial Services Inc. in February 2019.  She is a graduate of Fleming College with a diploma in Business Administration - Accounting.  She brings to the team a good understanding of bookkeeping and personal income taxes.  In addition, she brings her experience with QuickBooks both On-line and Desktop which allows her to help her clients better understand the process within the program and to work more efficiently.   

Amy enjoys spending time with her nieces, family and friends and spending time at the trailer and reading.

Rhonda Vanderwal, Bookkeeper

Rhonda has worked in the Business administration field bringing over 25 years of acquired knowledge and understanding of Payroll Management, Non-Profit Housing finance, Medical Finance and owning a local business with her husband Mike.  Partnering her experience and drive to learn and grow will be a benefit to our clients.

With a love of animals and people, Rhonda and her husband Mike share their therapy dog, Bear at the PRHC and throughout the community.

Jennifer (Jenn) Lummiss, Administrative Assistant

Jenn joined the LLS Financial team in January 2020, taking on the position of Administrative Assistant. She has a background of doing bookkeeping for small business and administration in a variety of fields.  Her love of learning has allowed her to expand into data entry and bookkeeping as needed.

Jenn enjoys photography, knitting and traveling both near and far.
